Autism Partnership School, HK

Since December 2010, Autism Partnership Foundation has planned to launch the largest-scale Autism Awareness Campaign in Hong Kong during the UN World Autism Awareness Month (April, 2011) not only to kick start our awareness campaign to promote public awareness on Autism but also to raise fund for the Relocation & Renovation of the first Autism School in Hong Kong.

Permanent School Premises Project

As a non-subvented and young charity, AP Foundation does not receive government subsidies or premises grant but only occasional corporate and community sponsorships. Our most immediate challenge is to raise fund to relocate our school from the existing short-term leased premises to a permanent one so families would not have to worry about the close down of the only Autism school.

The Project Plan
Major Renovation Items will include:

Building scaffolding for exterior painting
Exterior painting and maintenance
Interior painting and maintenance
Furnishing Lavatories on all floors
Changing water pipes and plumbing system
Electricity maintenance works
Interior design and purchase of furniture
Stainless steel security gates
Close-circuit TV and surveillance systems
Clearing of site waste
Centralized Air-conditioning
Installing fire service equipment

The existing rooms will be re-designed for different uses and the new floor plan will be as follows:
